Metallic Epoxy Garage in Botanical Gardens Area, Port St. Lucie
This Port St. Lucie homeowner wanted a garage floor that matched their attention to detail. We started with a full diamond grind to open the concrete pores and remove years of tire marks and minor spalling. After repairing several hairline cracks with flexible epoxy filler, the slab was primed with a moisture-tolerant base coat.
The metallic epoxy system uses real metallic pigments suspended in a high-build resin. We hand-manipulated the silver and charcoal pigments with rollers and heat to create a one-of-a-kind swirl pattern that mimics liquid metal. Two coats of UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat lock in the design and provide outstanding abrasion resistance.
The finished floor transformed the garage into a showroom-quality space. Hot-tire pickup is no longer a concern, oil and chemical spills wipe up effortlessly, and the high-gloss finish reflects overhead lighting to brighten the entire area. The homeowner now uses the space for both parking and weekend workshop projects.
